New staging for the Center Pompidou in Toulon

After “Futurissimo: the utopia of Italian Design” in 2021, the Hôtel des Arts in Toulon presents the exhibition “Modern Interiors, 1920-1930”, curated by Marie-Ange Brayer, curator of the design collection at the Centre Pompidou

“Modern Interiors (1920-1930)”

The exhibition that presents the masterpieces of the design collection of the Centre Pompidou, traces the adventure of modernity in France in the years 1920-1930 through the revolution of domestic interiors.

Opened on 24 June 2022, presents more than 50 designers, including Charlotte Perriand, Eileen Gray, Robert Mallet-Stevens, Pierre Chareau, Le Corbusier, Jean Prouvé, and more than one hundred design objects.

“Futurissimo. The utopia of italian design”

The exhibition expresses the singularity of Italian design that originated from an avant-garde architectural and modern culture, such as Futurism at the beginning of the 20th century.
